I created this mandala by using the leaves and flowers of wild plants that were growing in my Italian garden by inking, positioning, and pressing down each leaf that you see in the composition to make its own print and then I coloured and drew further details by hand. It was a very “zen” exercise.

The plants include yarrow, red clover, geranium, mallow, shepherd-cress, buttercup, and wild strawberry to name just a few.
